About Sami

I’ve been passionate about hair since I was in elementary school, and the first paycheck I ever received went towards getting a high end haircut. I began my education at Gene Juarez Academy shortly after high school. I then began working and apprenticing under several senior hair stylist’ at Gene Juarez’s Bellevue location, specializing in cutting techniques. Deep down I knew I wanted to color hair. Which led me to transition to Stan Parente Salon, were I was mentored by the owner on modern coloring techniques. After a few years at Stan Parente, I decided to venture out on my own and landed at Winslow Salon.

I continue to spend my free time educating myself as well as traveling to attend different hair classes. I’ve traveled to L.A., Oakland, Portland, and Arizona to learn from a variety of talented hair stylists. I’ve also taken many online classes and educate myself on a regular basis. I have been fortunate enough to work at Winslow Salon, who values education and hosts classes regularly.

Aside from doing hair I love the Pacific Northwest. I enjoy getting outside, camping, and exploring the wilderness. I love socializing, self-care, yoga, and I’m a huge foodie.
